Today is the first Bridge Day of 2008! Today marks the day when we all cross the bridge from vacation back into work and back into school. The Christmas break is now over and the "real world" of the office and the classroom begins again.
As we cross this bridge into the new calendar year, let me encourage you to take God's Word along with you. For the followers of Christ at "the bridge," this is a great time to "begin again" with a daily dose of God's Word.
The truth is, if you carve out ten to fifteen minutes of your day...every day, you can easily read through God's Word from cover to cover in 2008.
There are some great Bible reading plans available. Check out this Bible Reading Link for some excellent choices.
By the way, today's pic is the majestic Sydney Harbor bridge in Sydney, Australia. They really put on a spectacular show at New Year's. If you look close, you can see the famous Sydney Opera House on the left side of the bridge.
Happy Bridge Day...and Happy New Year!
I think you know what to do as you cross the bridge into 2008. Get into God's Word and...
Live the Red,
Mark
